Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Download the tapdub app or sign up on our website. Create a username, set a password, and you're ready to start tracking.
What's a Dub?
A Dub is an activity or habit you want to track. Think of it as a category like "Morning Run" or "Reading". Create as many as you need.
What's a Tap?
A Tap is a single entry when you complete an activity. Tap quickly to log without notes, or add a story with details and photos.
How do I delete a Tap?
Open the Tap and select delete. You can remove any of your own Taps at any time.
Sharing & Privacy
What are Dub privacy settings?
Private: Only you see it. Public: Everyone can view it. Shared: Invite friends to contribute their own Taps.
How do I share a Dub with friends?
Create or edit a Dub and set it to "Shared". Copy the link or share the Dub name. Friends can join and start adding their own Taps.
Can I control who sees my Taps?
Yes. In shared Dubs, toggle "Tabs Public" to let others see your entries, or keep them private to yourself only.
Is my data secure?
We use industry-standard encryption and don't share your data with third parties. You own your data completely.
Features
What's offline mode?
Log Taps without internet. They'll sync automatically when you reconnect.
How do story Taps work?
Add a description or memory to your Tap. Attach photos to build a visual diary of your activities.
What languages does tapdub support?
tapdub is available in 28 languages. Your system language is detected automatically, or change it in settings.
Can I archive a Dub?
Yes. Archive Dubs you no longer actively use without losing data. Access archived Dubs anytime from settings.
Account & Support
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, select "Forgot Password". Enter your email and follow the instructions sent to you.
How do I change my username?
Go to account settings and update your profile. Your username must be unique and between 3-30 characters.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Contact our support team at support@tapdub.com with your request. Your data will be permanently deleted.
How do I report a problem?
Email us at support@tapdub.com with details about the issue. We respond within 24 hours.
