At tapdub, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how Fruity Pages ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
This Privacy Policy applies to both our website and mobile applications.

1.1 Website Data
On our website (tapdub.com), we collect minimal information:
- Newsletter Subscriptions: Email addresses for newsletter signup (optional)
- Technical Data: Session cookies for website functionality (no tracking or analytics cookies)
- Server Logs: Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and access times
1.2 Mobile App Data
When you use our mobile applications, we collect:
Account Information
- Email address
- Username (3-30 characters)
- Password (stored as encrypted hash)
- Profile avatar (optional photo)
- Account creation and last login timestamps
Activity Data (Tabs and Dubs)
- Activity categories you create ("Dubs") with titles, descriptions, and colors
- Activity logs ("Tabs") with timestamps
- Optional text descriptions and stories
- Optional photos attached to activity logs (max 5MB per image)
- Optional geographic coordinates (if you enable location tracking)
- Visibility settings (private, public, shared)
Social Login Data
If you choose to sign in via social providers (Google, Apple):
- Provider ID and email address
- Profile information shared by the provider
- OAuth tokens (stored securely)
Note: We do not have access to your social media passwords. Authentication is handled by the respective providers.
App Store Data
When you download our app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms collect their own data (device information, payment details, etc.) according to their privacy policies. We do not have access to this information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Service Provision: To operate and maintain the tapdub platform
- Account Management: To create and manage your user account
- Feature Functionality: To store and display your activity logs, photos, and habits
- Social Features: To enable sharing and collaboration features (only if you choose to use them)

We do NOT:

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by our hosting partner. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.

- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt encryption
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure token-based authentication (Laravel Sanctum)
- Regular security updates and patches
3.3 Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems.

4. Sharing Your Information
4.1 Public and Shared Content
You have full control over the visibility of your content:
- Private: Only you can see your Dubs and Tabs
- Public: Anyone can view your activity logs
- Shared: You can invite other users to join and contribute to a Dub
4.2 Third-Party Services
We share minimal data with:
- Hosting Providers: To store and serve your data
- Social Login Providers: Google and Apple for authentication (only if you use social login)
- App Stores: Apple and Google for app distribution
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of our users.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

6. Data Deletion and Account Termination
6.1 Deleting Activity Logs (Tabs)
Individual activity logs can only be deleted within 15 minutes of creation. After this period, Tabs become permanent to maintain data integrity for shared activities and habit tracking.
6.2 Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time:
- Through the app settings
- By contacting support@tapdub.com
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data (Dubs, Tabs, photos, profile information) will be permanently deleted from our systems.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Service is available to users aged 13 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by:
- Posting the updated policy on our website
- Sending an email notification (if you have an account)
- Displaying an in-app notification
Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
